About Vikki
I understand that being active is a quality-of-life issue for you. I don’t want you to have to give it up. I am dedicated to helping you relieve the chronic pain and stiffness that keeps you from enjoying the healthy, active life that is so essential to your well-being.
I have more than 20 years of experience. In those years, I have worked with hundreds of clients and have built an extensive “toolbox” of modalities and techniques based on 1,200 hours of advanced education. I personalize each client’s therapeutic process, using the right tools in my toolbox to address muscles, ligaments, tendons, fascia — and even the nervous system — to facilitate the healing process.
I will use this experience and learning to discover the source of the musculoskeletal pain that you’re suffering with — and to define the best therapeutic plan to resolve it.
In addition to practicing as a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2001 (LMT #MT026561), I have over 1,200 hours of advanced education in the following modalities.
My Toolbox
Myofascial Therapy
The fascia is connective tissue that surrounds muscles, bones, and organs throughout the body. The goal of myofascial therapy is to release tension and tightness in the fascia — a common source of physical pain.
Active Myofascial Therapy
This method uses client movement to quickly and effectively reduce fibrosis adhesions.
Ben Benjamin Orthopedic Massage
This proven bodywork system incorporates myofascial therapy and friction therapy to address adhesive scar tissue formation, a common cause of chronic pain.
Muscle Energy Techniques
This widely used approach uses contractions and stretching to reduce trigger points and improve musculoskeletal function.
NeuroKinetic Therapy—Functional Muscle Testing
A testing method designed to find out whether a muscle is functioning optimally or not. If not, it could be the source of the pain and tension you’re experiencing.
Neural Reset Therapy
This technique lets therapists reset the nervous system to release tension and pain within seconds.
